Thank you for all your help Mrs. Elaine!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my goodness! I am very suprising how the time pass so quickly. I really like this class because of the teacher.She makes our class very interesting and dinamic. I think that in our entire life we can have many teachers but not as Mrs. Elaine. She is an amazing teacher. I didn't expect to find in this country a teacher as her. I was scared because I thought nobody could understand my needs. Ms. Elaine has changed my English perspective . I thought it was very difficult and complicated, but today I feel it's not that horrible to learn English. Actually, I like the English more that the first day of class. Thank you Mrs. Elaine you are the best teacher.

Something Funny!!!!

Today something funny happended to me. I was chatting in the messenger with a friend from El Salvador, and I received a call in my cell phone. At the same time, My sister called me from El Salvador. Unfortunatelly I couldn't answer her. I didn't know what to do because I didn't have a phone card to call her back. I decided to ask my friend to call her because they are in the same country. He made me that favor and he explained her that I couldn't answer because I had other call. He asked her to call me again. Right away my sister called me and we talked almost for a hour. Jajajajajaj!!!!

To travel!!!!!!!!!

According with my experience travel is very uncomfortable. I had traveled 7 times in my whole life. Each of them in a range of 5 hours. I remember each of those as bad experiences. It will be helpful if you sit next to the window. Otherwise, if you sit in any other chair, the pain in your neck is going to kill you. Fortunately some airlines offer you T.V. , and that can help you to forget the pain for a while. Which is good, but generally I think two o three times before to travel.

My new neighbor!!!!

This morning I met at my new neighbor. Her name is Esther. She is 65 years old. I got suprising when I met her because she is very talkative. I was getting in home and she also was getting in home. She gifted me a apple pie. She said that her doctor ban her to eat apple pie and all that kind of sweet food, but she said that she still eat sweet food. I suggested her not to do that because It'll be better if she take care of herself to have a good health.

My car

I'm going to talk about my car. I know that it is strange but I feel a connection with my car. I feel so comfortable when I drive it. I always drive with the windows closed because I don't like to hear the street noise. I think that my car is so airtight, that's why I like it because that made me feel good. I like to keep my car clean. Maybe you don't notice from the outside, but inside the car I never keep trash.

My weekend

My weekend was very nice!!! I always say that the first thing that I'm going to do is wake up late. So on Saturday and on Sunday I usually wake up around 9 am or 10 am. Thanks God this past weekend was one of them because my husband played around 2:00 pm. There is other weekends that unfortunately my husband plays at 9 am and we have to wake up earlier around 7:30 am. My husband never forces me to go with him but I go because I love be with him. That is why over the weekend we really appreciate every second that we spend together because on the weekdays he gets in home at 8 pm and I around 7:30 pm.

My best Friend Jennifer!!!!

Today I talk about my best friend Jennifer. We met when we were in middle school. Then we went to the same College. She lives in my country El Salvador. Our relationship is very strong and although we live in different countries always keep the communication by telephone or by messenger. As I told you in my speech she also loves the chocolat like me. When she was here we went to the Resses Store to take many pictures. She bought a lot of souvenir for her family and friends in El Salvador. Of course we bought chocolat and both of us enjoy every bit of chocolate like if we never will test it again jajajajajja She was here for 12 days in those days were really wonderful. I would like that she'll come to visit to me again, but her parents don't allow her to do it again to soon. She was here on June, but I feel that I haven't seen her like many years ago. I lover her so much and I miss her a lot!!!

Almost Christmas!!! My favorite season. I am so excited because I love it. In my country my family used to celebrate the Christmas as a big party because is the God's birthday!!! I feel that in that month (December) everybody likes to share!!! I used to go to shopping with my family every Saturday. It wasn't necessary to buy something because we also liked to be together. Unfortunately I am not with them and I wish those days happen again to spend time with them!!! I know will be difficult because My parents are in California, My sisters and El Salvador and I am here in NY, but won't be impossible.

The Baby!!!!

I am going to talk about My new neighbor. She is Rose she just borned 1 month ago. Her mother is my friend and I am so happy that she is a healthly baby. Before that she borned we were worry. The Doctor told to my friend that it was a risk because she is 37 years old and it was her first baby. Therefore we are glad that both are healthly. The first time when I saw Rose I was very sorprising. I have never see a baby such small as Rose. She was just 15 inches of long and 17 pound of weight. One month after she have 5 pounds more. She is so pretty. I realized how wonderful is God with us for give the opportunity to be alive every days and enjoy this wonderful world.

My Neighborhood in El Salvador!!!

I will speak of my neighborhood before coming to the United States of America. I loved it because all my neighbors were nice to me and my family. There was a park a block from my house. There were many people who would walk in the park or play in the park almost every day. I always saw people at the park until nightfall at about 11:00 hours. In front of the park there was a shopping center that benefits everyone, because we could find many things without having to go away a lot. My favorite store was a mini-supermarket. My house had a wall around of the house with concrete blocks with no exterior windows. So that prevented us from seeing outside. At some point made us feel more privacy but there were other occasions where we felt like prisoners in the opinion of my sisters and mine!!!

A piece of my heart!!!!1

Well at this time I would like to talk about the best pet that I ever had. It was a dog. His name was Guto. This dog was like my shadow. I grew up with him. I was 10 years old when my mother gifted it to me. He never left me alone when I was in the house. I used to feed it. I used to give him a bath. I used to take a walk with him. The badly point of this story is that I left him when I came to this country. I cried like I baby for him because I really loved him. He marked my life and I am always going to keep him in my heart.

Drive is very important!!!

Hello Now I'm going to talk about the importance the drivers. I learned to drive almost two years ago. I was in California when my father made the time to tought me. He is very patient. I really appreciate it the way that he used because he always make feel sure of myself even if I had made a mistake. He was very relaxed also he gave me many tips to improve myself. Finally I took my test and I past it. I will be so thankful with him to tought me how to drive because and my opinion is that in this country I think that DRIVE is a needed. It is like my mom used to tell me: "Know how to swim and know how to drive are basic thing that you should know because in an emergency such knowledge could save your life and that of others".I totally agree with her.

My weekend!!!

Saturday's afternoon I went with my husband to visited some friend. We were watched movies and suddenly we decide to go to Manhattan. It was around 5:30 and we were taking the train at 6:00. It was very excited because I really enjoy when I spend my time with my husband and friends. When we arrived in the Penn Station we started to walk around those huge building after a little while we wanted to go to see the beautiful view that the Brooklyn's bridge has. We took the subway and fortunately we went to a great restaurant with an awesome view. Then when we got back and we arrived here in Mineola around 2:00 am. Everything was perfect except that my legs were killing me!!!!

My Job

I am working in a cleaning Company. I am a secretary. I like my job because many of my co-workers are very friendly. I am comfortable with them. I started to work 6 months ago. The first month I was very confusse because I did not know to much about what exactly the company do. This company is able to clean carpets, drapes, blinds, tile, marble and wood floor as well as windows cleaning, construction clean up, janitorial services, painting, smoke damage, Odor damage and fire damage. So if you need some of this services just let me know :)

I am Sad!!!

I just received a call a few minuts ago. It was my litle sister telling mea bad news. My grandmother's bestfriend died yesterday at night. Her name was Rosa. My grandmother loved her a lot. I loved her too because when my family and I came at this country she was very kind and friendly with us. She gave us many tips. For example, She helped us to find the right place to live. She was a lovely woman that is why I am very sad. I hope that now she is in a better life beside God!!!!

My Family!!!

I want to say how I miss my friends!!!! When I came at this country I thought it going to be easy. But not I was totally wrong because It's hard start a new life. Fortunately I came with my family and it helped me. I felt their support me. My mom always told me that my dreams come truth If we really want to. She said If you want you can. And every days I tried to remember that words!!!!

My little Friend!!!

I have a friend. She is 5 years old. I saw her every day. She is my co-worker's daughter. She is from Columbia. And in special she took my attention because she is a very smart girl. She always ask me to play with her. Every days I tried to organize my time to play with her at least 30 Minuts. Because she doesn't have brothers and neither friends. The days before yesterday she started class in the Kinder-Garden and I am very happy because she is very excited to get new friends. I love her like my little sister !!!! :)

I would like to share my experience with liars. A years ago I was working in a Lawyer's Office . The Attorney must of the time lied to the customer with their case. Tell them that the case was doing well when that was not truth. And I felt very bad because many of the clients approached me to tell their stories and what were their main reasons for being in this country with legal papers. I always tried to push him the attorney to check every case. But he spent more time and put more interest in those case what belong at people of his same country. Or those case in that he will get more money. I never was agree with his attitud .

Hello everyone!!!!

Hello guys!!!! I'm very happy , first of all because I'm very excited to have the chance to improve my english. And also because I feel comfortable in this group, to tell you the truth the first day of class I was nervous, thinking how will be the teacher and my classmates, but after the first day of class I change my mind because all of you look so kind and friendly. So I sincerely hope we can be good partners and friends!!!! Courage !!!!! Much encouragement for everyone to perform each of the challenges that have been tras.!!!!

My weekend

I really happy every fridays because I love spend time with my family on weekend!!!!
